# Real-time audio

> Preview real-time audio capabilities in the Peerlogic VoIP Platform API.

<Warning>Real-time audio is part of the VoIP Platform preview and may change.</Warning>

Real-time audio is intended for approved integrations that need access to audio from an active call. Protocols, media formats, authorization, and availability are defined by the current preview release.

Peerlogic provides those requirements directly to approved preview participants.
