# Call legs

> Preview call-leg resources in the Peerlogic VoIP Platform API.

<Warning>The Call Legs API is part of the VoIP Platform preview and may change.</Warning>

A call leg represents one segment of a call. A call can contain multiple legs when it is transferred, forwarded, or connected through more than one participant or destination.

Use the call relationship supplied in preview responses to associate each leg with its parent call. Current endpoint and field details are provided to approved preview participants.
