# Phone numbers

> Preview phone-number resources in the Peerlogic VoIP Platform API.

<Warning>The Phone Numbers API is part of the VoIP Platform preview and may change.</Warning>

A phone-number resource represents a number assigned to a customer voice service. It may be associated with routing destinations or other VoIP resources.

Current endpoint, provisioning, and routing details are provided to approved preview participants.
